The Arizona Newspapers Association supports excellence in journalism in all its many forms. We run the Excellence in Advertising competition in the spring and the Better Newspapers Contest in the fall. We also recognize individuals that have fought for freedom of information with the Zenger Award and annual FOI awards — and those who have made a lasting impression in Arizona journalism with our Hall of Fame awards.
